Our client is a leading bank in the US that wanted to replace its existing legacy system with Temenos T24 Transact core banking system. While migrating to the next generation core banking system, the client wanted to thoroughly test the interfaces in order to ensure seamless integration across business functions. The client's core banking system had multiple interfaces and each needs to be tested. Due to the lack of in-house testing expertise on Temenos T24 Transact, the client was not adept at test strategy and planning to cater to the stringent timelines, changing requirements, comprehensive coverage, expertise, test data accuracy, and prioritization of test scenarios.

The Testing Principal

Quantaeon, with its experience in Quality Assurance for Core Banking projects, worked with the business users to prepare the test plan & strategy, design test conditions, document the test and results of the process and perform the system and integration test. Quantaeon conducted several sprints of System and Integration Testing (including UAT) and identified critical issues in the system which would have not only affected the successful deployment but also functionality and implementation time. Quantaeon continued providing quality assurance on the application landscape for an extended period of time even after the go live to help resolve critical issues that came up in production.
